New Market clashes: 200 sued for vandalising ambulance

A case has been filed against 200 people for vandalising an ambulance during the clashes between Dhaka College students and traders and shop workers in New Market area of the capital.
Md Sujan, the owner of the ambulance, lodged the case with the New Market Police Station on Saturday.
SM Kaiyum, officer-in-charge of the New Market police station, confirmed the news on Tuesday.
Clashes between Dhaka College students and New Market shop owners and workers started on April 18 and it continued throughout the following day, injuring over 50 people.
Two of them later succumbed to their injuries.
