National Bank AGMs held

The 40th and 41st Annual General Meetings (AGMs) of National Bank Limited were held on Wednesday at a convention center in Dhaka.
The meeting was presided over by Abdul Awal Mintoo, Chairman & Sponsor Director of the Bank. Also present were Moazzam Hossain, Vice Chairman & Sponsor Director; Zakaria Taher, Chairman of the Risk Management Committee & Director; Muklesur Rahman, Chairman of the Executive Committee & Independent Director; Md. Abdus Satter Sarkar, Chairman of the Audit Committee & Independent Director; Md. Zulkar Nayn, Independent Director; Prof Dr. Melita Mehjabeen, Independent Director; Sheikh Akhter Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director (Current Charge); Deputy Managing Directors and the esteemed shareholders of the bank. During the meeting, the financial statements for the years 2022 and 2023, the appointment of auditors, and other scheduled agendas were approved. During the meeting, the shareholders expressed their special thanks to the Board of Directors and the Management for organizing the physical Annual General Meeting instead of a virtual one.
Additionally, the shareholders also expressed their expectations that National Bank would regain its old glory soon and be able to declare dividends to the shareholders at the next Annual General Meeting.
