Narayanganj Deputy Commissioner Mahmudul Haque exchanged views with onion wholesalers and traders of the city. Yesterday Sunday at 2.30 pm, the businessmen met at the Deputy Commissioner's office.
The Deputy Commissioner discussed with the traders with the aim of bringing the products within the reach of the common people by bringing the prices under control in the market. At this time he gave two instructions to the traders.
The instructions are, sell onion at a reasonable price and save the purchase receipt or voucher. He also warned traders that appropriate legal action will be taken if anyone tries to destabilize the market by selling products at higher prices and does not preserve vouchers.

Two shops fined
