Mourning Meeting and Prayer Event Held in Rangpur

On Friday evening, July 01, 2022, Mourning Meeting and a Prayer Event were organized at the Rangpur Public Library Hall room in memory of the four late writers of Rangpur.
The Mourning Meeting and the Prayer event were organized in memory of Matiur Rahman Basuniya Kabyanidhi, the compiler of the regional Bengali language dictionary, Educationist and former MP Shahanara Begum, poet Nahid Habib Riva and poet Tasmin Afroz.
Rangopur Sahitya Parishad and Rangopur Gobeshona Parishad President Prof. Mozammel Haque presided over the function. Famous Fredom Fighter Akbar Hassan, Dr. Mafizul Islam Mantu, Prof. Shah Alam, RezauL Karim Mukul, Kazi Mohammad Junnun, Fakhrul Anam Benju, Rana Masud, Advocate Zakia Sultana Chaiti, Manzil Murad Lavlu and many others spoke on the occasion
At the end of the discussion, Alhaj Maqbul Hussain Sumon conducted the prayers for the forgiveness of the deceased.
