
Missing in evening, body found under hyacinth at night in Puthia

The body of a six-year-old boy named Abrar was recovered from beneath water hyacinths in Agla village under Belpukuria police station in Rajshahi. Deceased Abrar was the son of local Dr. Shawkat Sharif.
On Tuesday (15th July) afternoon, the child went missing, and around 9:30 PM, his body was recovered from under the water hyacinths in a pond near the house.
According to the details of the incident, on Tuesday afternoon, Nadia (12), daughter of Selim from the same village, and Sadia (13), daughter of Mainul, called Abrar out of the house to play. Since then, Abrar went missing. Despite much searching by the family and locals, no trace of him was found.
Later, family members, out of suspicion, questioned Nadia and Sadia, who then revealed that Abrar could be found under the water hyacinths in the pond. Based on their information, the relatives searched the pond behind neighbor Mojahar’s house and recovered Abrar's lifeless body from beneath the water hyacinths around 9:30 PM.
In this regard, OC of Belpukuria police station, Md. Suman Kadri, said, initially, it is being considered a murder. The two teenage girls have been detained for questioning in connection with the incident. Only after interrogation will it be possible to uncover the true mystery behind the incident.m
