Microbus catches fire on Dhaka Elevated Expressway

A microbus caught fire on the Dhaka Elevated Expressway in front of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Thursday.
Rozina Akhtar, duty officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) headquarters control room, said the vehicle caught fire due to overheating of its engine around 12:10pm.
Being informed, two firefighting units from the nearby Airport station rushed to the spot and doused the fire around 12:40pm, she said.
No casualty was reported in the incident.
