Kushtia District Police holds monthly welfare, crime review meeting

A monthly welfare meeting was organized by the Kushtia District Police at the Police Lines Conference Room at 9:00 am on Tuesday.
The chief guest was the esteemed Police Superintendent, Mr. Md. Mizanur Rahman.
During the welfare meeting, the Police Superintendent delivered a directive speech to the attending police personnel, highlighting various measures taken for their welfare and outlining future plans alongside their professional duties. The meeting reviewed the progress of proposed welfare activities from the previous month, which were approved for implementation.
Additionally, discussions were held on the issues faced by police personnel stationed at various thanas, outposts, and units in the district, along with solutions and effective ways to enhance professional efficiency.
In recognition of outstanding performance, nine police personnel were awarded in three categories for June 2025 as the best performers.
Following the welfare meeting, a monthly crime review meeting was held at 12:00 PM in the Police Superintendent’s office conference room, moderated by Additional Police Superintendent (Sadar Circle), Pranab Kumar Sarkar. The meeting was chaired by Police Superintendent Md. Mizanur Rahman.
The crime review meeting discussed the overall law and order situation in the district, the progress of pending and sensitive cases, the execution of arrest warrants, enhancements in intelligence activities, and measures taken to control crime.
Additional Police Superintendent (Admin and Finance) Shikdar Md. Hasan Imam, Additional Police Superintendent (Sadar Circle) Pranab Kumar Sarkar, Assistant Police Superintendent (Mirpur Circle) Md. Jahangir Alam, Officers-in-Charge of all thanas in the district, Officer-in-Charge (Detective Branch), DIO-1 (DSB), Officer-in-Charge (Motor Transport), Police Inspector (Town and Traffic), Reserve Inspector (RI) Kushtia, and other officials were also present.
