The Bangladesh Jamaate Islami Workers' Conference-2025 was held in Barguna under the slogan "Serving humanity and gaining qualifications in running the country to gain the satisfaction of Allah Ta'ala". Thousands of people from cities, villages, and remote areas participated in the conference.

The workers' conference was held on Wednesday from 2 pm to 5 pm at the Central Shaheed Minar Maidan of Barguna Town Hall.

The conference was chaired by Maulana Muhibbullah Harun, a member of the District Central Majlis-e-Sura and the Ameer Principal of Bangladesh Jamaate Islami Barguna District Branch, and moderated by District Jamaat-e- Islami Secretary Asaduzzaman Al Mamun. Bangladesh Jamaate Islami Secretary General (former MP) Prof Mia Golam Parwar was the chief guest.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Assistant Secretary General Adv Muazzam Hossain Helal, Jamaat-e-Islami Barishal Metropolitan Ameer Principal Zahir Uddin Muhammad Babar, Central Majlish-e-Shura and Regional Team Member and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Barisal Member AKM Fakhruddin Khan Razi, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka (South) Metropolitan Majlish-e-Shura Member Dr. Sultan Ahmed were also present at the workers' conference.

Also present were leaders and activists of district and upazila level Jamaat-e-Islami, Chhatra Shibir, and allied organizations.

Chief guest Prof Mia Golam Parwar said in his speech to everyone, first of all, I would like to remember all the students who are standing and speaking at such a big workers' conference in Barguna today in exchange for their revolutionary lives. He prayed for the forgiveness of their souls and peace for their families.

He said, in exchange for the fresh blood of the students, we have got a new Bangladesh and a suitable interim government for reforms. After the reforms, through a fair and impartial election, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami will serve the people of Bangladesh, InshaAllah.

For years, we have had to live in fear of Jamaat, BNP and various political opposition parties. When the dictator Sheikh Hasina was in power in Bangladesh, she was involved in all kinds of immoral activities including torture, disappearance, murder, rape, tender trade. Bangladesh and the people of Bangladesh were in a state of turmoil.

He also said, in the next parliamentary elections, on behalf of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, I have given the principal of Barguna 01 constituency, Maulana Muhibullah Harun, and Dr. Sultan Ahmed, as gifts. You will keep an eye on both of them. In the next elections, all Islamic parties will unite and Jamaat-e-Islami will come to power to serve the people, InshaAllah.

He also said that all the parties have seen who is who. This time the common people want Islam to come to power. And if Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami comes to power, the people of Bangladesh will be safe in terms of food, clothing, housing, life and property, including everything.
