Human chain, locals fed up with corruption of Sub-Registrar Lutfar Rahman in Jaldhaka

A human chain was formed in Jaldhaka of Nilphamari demanding examplary punishment of Sub-Registrar Lutfar Rahman Molla on charges of bribery and corruption and various irregularities.
The hour-long human chain was organized by the Upazila Shachet Nagorik Samaj on Monday at the local Zero Point intersection. The human chain, chaired by social activist Anwar Hossain, convener of the Shachet Nagorik Samaj, was addressed by Upazila Tati Dal President Alamgir Hossain, Joint Coordinator of the National Citizen Party Mohaimenur Rahman Sana, President of the Youth Dal Umar Faruk Sabu, and active July fighter Roxy of the 24's mass uprising.
The speakers in the human chain said that the current sub-registrar has been collecting a large amount of money from the document writers due to minor mistakes in the documents, and has been collecting an additional 2,000 to 3,000 taka per document in the name of NFls. Fed up with his bribery and corruption, we are forming a human chain today, hoping that the concerned authorities will take necessary measures as soon as possible. They also requested the forgery writers not to take additional money for copying.
If the necessary steps are not taken as soon as possible or such bribery and corruption is not stopped, the leaders of the conscious civil society warned of a more stringent movement in the future. When asked about bribery and corruption, Sub-registrar Lutfar Rahman Molla said, "I do not accept money, it is not my responsibility to know how much money was paid to the document writers outside the office. Those who ask for additional money should understand."
