Hijra Jubo Kalyan Sanstha discussion meetings with stake holders in Sylhet

In order to improve the quality of life of the Hijra community, a discussion meeting was held with various stakeholders under the initiative of 'Hijra Jubo Kalyan Sanstha'. The meeting was organized under the 'SCG' project in the conference room of a hotel in Mirabazar of the city on Wednesday (November 20).
Deputy Director of Social Services Office Sylhet Abdur Rafique was present as the chief guest in the event.
Shahina Akhtar, Deputy Director of Directorate of Women Affairs, Sylhet and officials of Directorate of Youth Development, Sylhet were present as special guests.
In the said meeting, the issues of cooperation and cooperation of public and private institutions were discussed for improving the quality of life of the Hijra community.
The meeting was attended by Miss Sukta Hijra, president of Hijra Youth Welfare Association, project coordinator Sakhawat Hossain and other team members, representatives of Sylhet public and private service organizations and officials, journalists, teachers, NGO representatives and other important representatives of the society.
