Handing over of 212 houses among slum dwellers at Hajinagar area in Tongi

Gazipur City Corporation Ward No. 57 Councilor Alhaj Md Ghiyas Uddin Sarkar presided over and Alhaj Md Aman Uddin Sarkar, Member of the Convening Committee of Mahanagara Jubo League, handed over the keys of houses to 212 slum dwellers in a ceremony.
Minister for Youth and Sports Alhaj Md. Zahid Ahsan Russel MP spoke as the chief guest.
Gazipur Metropolitan Awami League President Veer Muktijoddha Alhaj Ed Md Azmat Ulla Khan, Gazipur Metropolitan Crime South DC Mahabub Uz Zaman, AC Tongi Zone Mehedi Hasan, former treasurer of Gazipur Metropolitan Awami League Veer Muktijoddha Alhaj Md Zainal Abedin BA, Tongi Police Station spoke as special guests. Former president of Awami League, brave freedom fighter Alhaj Md Fazlul Haque were present.
After the discussion meeting, house keys were handed over to 212 families and Manogya cultural program was held.
