Goalando OC eases tensions between Sadist, Zubair group in Goalando

Officer -in -Charge of Goalando Ghat police station in Rajbari has ended with the prevailing tension between Tabligh Jamaat -e -Islami and Jubair.
It is said that the tension arose around the controversial statements of Imam Maulana Rezaul Karim (pro-Sad) of Adarsh village Jame Masjid in Ward No. 7 of Goalando municipality.
It is alleged that he had been constantly making a tensions since the casualties of the Saddis on the Ijtema field in Tongi on December 5.
In this context, the Mussulis of the area became vocal in demanding the removal of him from the post of Imam. Surrounded by the matter, the general Muslims and villagers of the area were divided into two groups.
Jumma was able to reach a peaceful negotiation at the mosque on Friday (January 26th) after a few rounds of talks.

Confirming the matter, the OC said that there was tension in the area for the past few days surrounding the demand for the removal of Imam Maulana Rezaul Karim of Adarsh village Jame Masjid. He had been trying for a peaceful solution for the past few days. In this connection, after the Jummah prayers on Friday, prominent people of the area and both sides were able to reach a peaceful negotiation in the mosque. Today (Friday), the Imam Sahib has left the Asr prayers. It was decided that the new Imam from Maghrib would offer prayers there. The outgoing Imam has been unanimously honored with a farewell honor of Tk 5,000 in cash.
In this regard, Sadly Ferry Imam Maulana Rezaul Karim said that he had accepted the decision to exempt the peace and order of the area. He has been praying in this mosque since the last 20 years. He said that he is working tirelessly for the development of the mosque in addition to promoting religion in the area.
