Free vegetables, fertilizer distributed in Sonagazi

In Sonagazi, Feni, free fertilizer and 5 types of seeds were distributed among 1,120 marginal farmers in the Rabi season in the 2025-26 fiscal year under an incentive program aimed at increasing vegetable production.
On Monday.morning, the fertilizer and seed distribution ceremony was held at the Upazila Parishad auditorium, chaired by Upazila Executive Officer Rigyan Chakma, with Feni District Deputy Director of the Department of Agricultural Extension, Atiq Ullah, present as the chief guest.
Upazila Agriculture Officer Main Uddin Ahmed Sohag delivered a speech moderated by Deputy Assistant Pratap Nath.
Speaking at the event, Upazila Fisheries Officer Taslima Akhter, Upazila Agricultural Extension Officer Al Amin Sheikh, Project Implementation Officer Al Sayeed, Assistant BRDB Officer Zahirul Islam, Deputy Assistant Plant Conservation Officer Mazir Uddin Chowdhury, Deputy Assistant Officer Ajmir Hossain, Aziz Ullah, Mahmud Alam, Rahim Ullah, Motaher Hossain, Nipa Rani Bhowmik, Naimul Islam, Md. Ashraf Hossain Patwari, Naznin Sultana, Ariful Islam, Khorshed Alam, Md. Hanif and other farmers from various unions were present.
