Elderly man killed by his opponent over disputed land in Laksam

An elderly man Shaheed Ullya Saru (65) was killed , after his opponent cut soil from the disputed land in Laksam.
The deceased is the son of Sayed Ahmed of the old house of Ali Mia Darbesh of Amuda village in Kandirpar union of Saru upazila.
The deceased's nephew Amanullah said that around ten in the morning Shahidullah driver of the neighboring house was cutting soil from our place and throwing it on the road of their house. At this time, if I stop them, they will chase me.
After informing Saru uncle, when they came to the spot along with aunt, Shahidul Islam driver (53) and his son Tajul Islam (29) along with 10/12 men and women rushed and pushed Aunty and slapped and kicked Saru uncle. At one point Saru fell to his death on the spot. He was immediately rescued and taken to Laksam Government Hospital where the doctor on duty declared him brought dead.
