Discussion on empowerment of women, health awareness of youths held in Gaibandha

A discussion meeting on the empowerment of young women and raising health awareness of youths with disabilities was held on Thursday in Domestic Banquet Room of Gaibandha.
The meeting was organized by the RHTEP and the Ewiri project, the Gaibandha Center. Former Professor Md Khalilur Rahman of Gaibandha Government College was the chief guest . NGO representatives, journalists, students and people of different classes were present at the meeting.
RHTEP Gaibandha Center Unit Md. Enamul Haque gave the welcome address.
Among others, social workers, Abdul Wadud, Rikta Khatun, Anu Khatun and others spoke. Ria Moni, Ranjan Debnath, Joha and others discussed on behalf of the students. From the negotiators, Chameli Rani, Moonmun Khatun highlighted the empowerment of young women and the health of women with disabilities. They said that women are acknowledged in different types of discrimination in the society, which is why the current young women need to be empowered. They also said that every person, society and state should be more aware of the health of the youth of disabilities.
In the discussion, the chief guest highlighted the issue of equality and equality of men and women, the misdiaries of the students and the negligence of the society, the erosion of the morality of the society, the limitations and problems of women, their employment, the backward in the society and the opportunities for the disabled youths.
