DIG of Dhaka Range Police Rezaul Karim Mallik said that if police personnel commit any irregularities or corruption, strict action will be taken according to the law. “I will not tolerate this in any way. No kind of financial corruption, irregularities — these activities will not be allowed. If I receive any report that you are involved in any irregularities or unethical activities, then special action will be taken against you. I will not give even the slightest concession in this regard.”
He said these as the chief guest while speaking at a special welfare meeting at the Faridpur Police Lines Hall Room on Tuesday afternoon.
At that time, he presented gifts to the families of the seven martyrs of the July movement in Faridpur.
Among others present on the occasion were Faridpur Superintendent of Police Md. Abdul Jalil, Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Shamsul Azam, as well as officers from various levels of the district police and others.
Later, he inaugurated the multipurpose hall (Welfare Shed) located at the police lines.
