Cycle rally to keep society free from drugs, child marriages, terrorism in Rajbari

A colourful cycle rally against drugs, eviction, child marriage and terrorism was held in Rajbari under the slogan "Eso Bandhu Cycling Kari Madakmukt Desh Gari".
The bicycle rally was held on Saturday (November 11) at 10 am organized by Rajbari District Police and Bicycle Lover Rajbari Group and with the support of marginal public welfare organizations.
The rally left the District Superintendent of Police's office and went through Railgate No. 1 of the municipal town, passing through Barapul, from Sreepur area and again through Barapul intersection, passing through the chicken farm, Bagmara Taltala, taking the U-turn and ending at Barapul again at the Police Superintendent's office.
Rajbari Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) and recently promoted to the post of Superintendent of Police Md. Rezaul Karim was present as the chief guest to inaugurate the cycle rally.
In the rally we are the children of Rajbari, Rajbari circle, cycle lovers Rajbari, Magura cyclists, students of various educational institutions, young people of different ages from the district and outside the district participated in the rally with about five hundred bicycles.
Tasin Ahmed Mithu, administrator of online voluntary organization 'Amra Rajbari's Children' page, said, "Drugs destroy not only individuals, but entire families. Young people are the nation's greatest asset. Everyone should come forward to save them from the clutches of drugs. The government is working against drugsHe also said, this is the first time we have participated in an exceptional cycle rally. The importance of this bicycle rally today is immense as it creates awareness against drugs, evictions, child marriage and terrorism in the society. I would like to thank District Additional Superintendent of Police Rezaul Karim sir for organizing such a beautiful event.
Eighth class student Shanto Sarkar, who participated in the rally, said that we applaud the initiative of the district police. In today's time such initiatives to protect the youth from mobile phone and drug addicts are commendable. I am very happy to be part of such an event.
In the speech of the chief guest, Md. Rezaul Karim, newly promoted to the post of Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) and Superintendent of Police of Rajbari District, said,
Drugs destroy not only individuals but entire families. Young people are the best wealth of the nation, everyone should come forward to save them from drug addiction. The government and the district police are working tirelessly against drugs. He appealed to the administration to help with information about drugs, child marriage, and evictions.
