CPB rally, red-flag procession in Kishoreganj

The Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) of Kishoreganj district unit arranged a rally and red flag brought out procession in the town to protest the trial of the July-August genocide, the reformation of the numerical proportional system election, the prevention of rising commodity prices, the attack on shrines and the killing of workers in Ashulia.
As part of the central programme, a red- flag procession was taken out from Kishoreganj's Gourango Bazar Party Office Sunday afternoon.
CPB , kishoreganj district president Comrade Abdur Rahman Rumi presided over the programme.
It was addressed among others, Ex.district president Comrade Syed Nazrul Islam , Senior district leader Comrade dr. Enamul Haque Idris and Abul Hashem master.
The CPB leaders demanded compensation to the families of those killed in the July-August uprising, compensation including treatment of the injured and justice for the genocide. At this time, they also demanded to take effective measures to stop attacks and vandalism of shrines and temples.
