Coast Guard has provided free medical services and essential medicines in Saint Martin’s Island.
Coast Guard media officer Lieutenant Commander HMM Harun-ur-Rashid shared this information on Monday afternoon.
The Bangladesh Coast Guard has consistently stepped up to support underprivileged people in coastal and riverine areas. Since its inception, the Coast Guard has been offering free medical services to disadvantaged and low-income communities through various medical camps.
Continuing this effort, a medical camp was held on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 10 AM to 2 PM at Coast Guard Station Saint Martin by the Bangladesh Coast Guard Ship Mansur Ali. The camp provided free medical services and essential medicines to over 200 helpless, poor, distressed individuals, including children. The medical camp was led by Medical Officer Surgeon Lieutenant Adib Adnan, AMC.
Bangladesh Coast Guard will continue such public service initiatives in the future.
