BRJA new committee : Sakhawat Chowdhury Chairman, Tajul Islam Secretary General

Mohammad Sakhawat Hossain Ibne Moin Chowdhury and Sheikh Mohammad Tajul have been elected Chairman and Secretary General respectively of Bangladesh Rural Journalists’ Association (BRJA) for the year 2025-2027.
The 25-member committee were elected unanimously at a biannual meeting of BRJA held at Metro Lounge Restaurant near National Press Club in the capital on Sunday.
Other office-bearers of central executive committee are Senior vice chairman Selim Parvez; vice chairman Md. Sazedul Islam; joint secretaries general SM Badrul Islam, Barrister Zakir Hossain Shishir, SM Mahfuzur Rahman, Advocate Sarabon Tahura; organizing secretary Tazuddin; assistant organizing Secretary Nazmus Sakib Saikat; finance secretary Fahim Al Nur; international secretary Jamal Ahmed; assistant international secretary Md. Shariful Islam; office secretary Saiful Islam; assistant office secretary Md. Saidul Islam Khan; law and human rights secretary Mujibur Rahman; women Secretary Advocate Mahiya Mehejabin Rifa; sports and Cultural secretary AH Arif; and publicity secretary Saleh Ahmed (Arif).
Executive members are Md. Mozammel Haque, Mosharraf Hossain Belal, MR Tunu Talukder, Kamruzzaman Chowdhury, Nurul Islam and Saleh Ahmed.
