BNP's harmony rally in Mongla

BNP has held a huge harmony rally in Mongla, Bagerhat to further strengthen communal harmony on Friday morning.
The rally was organized by Burirdanga Union BNP of Mongla Upazila at the Dwigraj Bazar Central Temple Ground and Bagerhat District BNP Joint Convener Lion Dr. Sheikh Faridul Islam spoke as the chief guest.
At the harmony rally, the BNP leader said, "We Hindus-Muslims-Christians-Buddhists are all Bangladeshis. There is no such thing as majority-minority in the country. BNP is a non-communal party. BNP is not a communal party, BNP does politics with people of all religions, castes and classes.
BNP follows the ideals of Shaheed Zia so that every person in Mongla-Rampal can freely practice his religion, like the rest of the country. BNP leaders and activists follow the ideals of Shaheed Zia and Khaleda Zia and the policies of Tarique Rahman. Local leaders should keep a close eye on BNP workers not working as agents of any other party. If anyone causes any chaos, they should be handed over to the police.
Among others, the harmony rally was attended by Upazila BNP leaders A. Mannan Howlader, Abu Hossain Poni, Babul Hossain Roni, Khorshed Alam, A. Razzak, Swechchhasebak Dal leaders Shahjalal Sabbir, Bablu Bhuiyan, Jubo Dal leaders Safarul Haider Sujan and Abul Kashem.
Several thousand men and women from Hindu-Christian-Buddhist communities were present at the harmony rally.
