Blanket distribution on Arafat Rahman Koko's death anniversary in Dohar

Blanket distribution and prayers were held in Dohar on the occasion of the 10th death anniversary of Arafat Rahman Koko, the youngest son of the founder of the nationalist party BNP, martyred President Ziaur Rahman and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
On Friday afternoon, blanket distribution and prayers were organized by the Upazila and Municipality BNP at the Abdul Hamid High School grounds of the upazila.
Former Sutarpara UP Chairman and Upazila BNP Vice-President Md. Nurul Islam Bepari presided over the program and Dhaka District BNP President Khandaker Abu Ashfaq was present as the chief guest at the program moderated by Dhaka District Jubo Dal President Abul Hashem.
Salauddin Molla, former vice-president of the central committee of JASAS, SM Kuddus, president of the municipal BNP, Nazrul Islam Mecher, president of the upazila BNP, Masud Parvez, general secretary of the upazila BNP and former upazila vice-chairman, and Shamima Islam Bithi, former women's vice-chairman, were present as special guests.
At this time, leaders and activists of the upazila BNP and its associate organizations participated in the prayer, wishing for peace in the afterlife of Arafat Rahman Koko and Ziaur Rahman, recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia, and good health of Tarique Rahman.
Finally, the guests distributed blankets among the needy and low-income people.
