With the slogan ‘The Light of Faith, the Liberation of Youth’ in front, Betagi Upazila Youth Forum participated in the day-long Youth Festival in Barguna. On this occasion, youth gatherings and inaugural ceremonies, discussion meetings, seminars, award distribution and cultural programs were organized.

In addition, Betagi Upazila Youth Forum organized an exhibition there in a colorful manner. Barguna Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Shafiul Alam was the chief guest and Barguna Police Superintendent Md. Ibrahim Khalil visited the stall of Upazila Youth Forum as special guest.

Earlier, on Thursday, Barguna District Shilpakala Academy premises organized a youth forum and citizen platform under the Transformation Astha project. Barguna Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Shafiul Alam was the chief guest at the Youth Festival-2025 program, a campaign for good governance in collaboration with the district administration and Transformation. Barguna Police Superintendent Md. Ibrahim Khalil was the special guest.

Under the chairmanship of Transformation Executive Director Swapan Kumar Guha and moderated by District Youth Festival Celebration Committee Convener Monir Hossain Kamal, the seminar was attended by Associate Professor Ahsan Habib, Barguna District Deputy Director of Youth Development Sakhawat Hossain, Barguna Press Club President Advocate Sanjib Das, Sohel Hafiz, Jago Nar Executive Chief Hosneyara Hasi.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) of Barguna district Animesh Biswas, Executive Director of Sundarban Academy, Khulna, Professor Anwarul Qadir, Convener of Barguna Citizen Platform Chikta Ranjan Shil, Former President of Barguna Press Club Zakir Hossain Miraj were also present as special guests at the festival.

Among others present were General Secretary of Barguna District Imam Samity Md. Fazlul Karim, President of Barguna District Hindu Buddhist Unity Council Gaurang Sikder Shibu, President of Barguna Puja Udjawan Parishad Shukhranjan Shil, Women's Leader Khaleda Islam Sweety, President of Betagi Press Club Saidul Islam Montu, General Secretary of Taltoli Rakhine Society Development Organization Mong Chin Than, Former General Secretary of Bamna Press Club Nasir Uddin Molla and Representative of Rupantor Anup Roy.

In addition, Md. Khalilur Rahman, Barguna District Coordinator of the Transformation Trust Project, was present at the youth festival along with Kohinur Begum, Barguna District Field Coordinator of the Transformation Trust Project, members of the Youth Forum of 6 upazilas of Barguna district, representatives of various similar organizations at the district level, journalists and representatives of civil society, and esteemed personalities were present.
