Awards distributed among meritorious students in Baraigram

A total of 38 meritorious students who were considered as the highest meritorious students in the 2022 and 2023 SSC and HSC examinations in Baraigram upazila of Natore were awarded on Monday.
The program organized by the Upazila Secondary Education Office under the Performance Based Grants for Secondary Institutions Scheme at the Upazila Parishad auditorium was presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Lail Jannatul Ferdous and Natore District Education Officer Md Rustum Ali Helali was the chief guest.
The chief guest said that this honor and award to the meritorious students will inspire and encourage them in their education. Today's children are the future of tomorrow. 19 meritorious students of SSC of 2022 and 2023 were given Tk 10,000 and 19 of HSC were given Tk 25,000.
Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Selim Akhter, Principal Moazzem Hossain, Head Teacher Rezaul Karim, Guardian Mohammad Ullah, meritorious students Sraboni Pramanik, Farzana Afroz Priya, Journalist Alhaj Saifur Rahman etc. spoke at the meeting.
Heads of various educational institutions, meritorious students and guardians, and local dignitaries were present at the event. At the end of the event, the chief guest distributed commemorative crests and certificates among the meritorious students.
