ASP of Sylhet Md. Lutfar Rahman received IGP medal

Additional Superintendent of Sylhet District Police (Headquarters and Media) Md Lutfar Rahman has been awarded the post of Inspector General of Police (IGP). He has been given this honor in recognition of his commendable work and achievements in his field of work in 2020 and 2021. He received the second highest award in the police.
He was awarded the medal for his outstanding contribution to the cause of the year 2020 in recognition of his good deeds through crime control, efficiency, conscientiousness, courage, honesty, provision of public safety, public service and discipline.
However, he could not attend the IGP badge ceremony. The award was handed over to Sylhet District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Farid Uddin Ahmed PPM.
The award was given by Additional District Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Md Lutfar Rahman at the monthly welfare and crime meeting of Sylhet District Police on Thursday (February 3).
District Additional Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Md. Lutfar Rahman expressed his views and said, "I am first thanking Allah the Almighty." I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Honorable District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Farid Uddin PPM Sir, all my colleagues, especially all the journalist brothers and my family.
He further said that in recognition of his contribution in the workplace, his work will further enhance his motivation and sense of responsibility. I am very happy to get IGP medal. I want to continue to serve the people in the coming days. I wish all the best, this award may inspire us to do better.
