Asif Mahmud in Ctg : Warning to non-cooperative officials

Asif Mahmud, Advisor to the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Youth and Sports, issued a stern warning to non-cooperative officials during a meeting in Chattogram, stating, "If there is a lack of cooperation, the government will consider appointing new personnel."
During a meeting held at the Chattogram Circuit House on Saturday the Advisor discussed price control and breaking up syndicates with divisional and district officials. Earlier in the day, he visited the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium and M.A. Aziz Stadium.
Asif Mahmud Sabeez Bhuiyan called upon the administration to play an effective role in dismantling syndicates and controlling prices, even suggesting the arrest of syndicate members under the Special Powers Act if necessary.
A.H.M. Shafiquzzaman, Secretary of the Ministry of Labor, Divisional Commissioner of Chattogram Tofayel Islam, Deputy Commissioner Farida Khanom, and other government officials were present at the meeting.
The Advisor stressed the importance of taking strong measures against syndicates and restoring normal market conditions through effective administrative actions.
