Ansar Ali Mia Memorial Football Tournament inaugurated in Faridpur

The Ansar Ali Mia Memorial Football Tournament has been inaugurated at the Porodia High School field in Kanaipur Union of Faridpur Sadar Upazila on Friday noon.
The tournament was organized by the Porodia Arowadanghi Youth Society.
The chief guest at the event was Additional DIG of Gazipur Metropolitan Police, Md. Zahid Hossain Bhuiyan, PPM Bar.
The Ansar Ali Mia Memorial Football Tournament was officially inaugurated by the wife of the late Ansar Ali Mia, Zahura Khatun.
The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Shah Md. Altaf Hossain, Chairman of Kanaipur Union Parishad.
Speakers at the inaugural event included Faridpur PBI Superintendent of Police Md. Robiul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Kotwali Police Station Md. Asaduzzaman, representative of Porodia Arowadanghi Youth Society Md. Sabbir Hossain, local UP member Alomgir Hossain, among others.
Teams participating in the month-long football tournament include Bangla Tiger, Nine Eleven, Shaheed Abu Sayeed Club, Nine Star, and Padma Nine Star Club.
