
All six demands of Milestone School & College students logical: Govt

All the six demands of the students of Milestone School and College following the aircraft crash at a school building in the capital are logical, according to the interim government.
The Press Wing of the Chief Adviser issued a statement in this regard on Tuesday.
Earlier, Law Adviser Asif Nazrul, Education Adviser CR Abrar and Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam went to the Milestone School and College and talked to the representative of the protesting students on Tuesday.
After a brief discussion, the Law Adviser said "An information center has been set up at Milestone School. It contains updated information on those killed, injured or missing in the incident.Details are being regularly updated. Measures are being taken to ensure compensation, rehabilitation and trauma management support for the affected families."
Referring to allegations of assault on students by members of the army during contorting crowd the adviser said the government expressed regret over the incident and the military authorities would be formally notified to take appropriate action, said the statement.
Besides, necessary directives will be given to the Air Force to not to operate training flights over densely populated areas, said Asif Nazrul.
Meanwhile, Education Adviser CR Abrar informed the students that the new date for the postponed HSC examination of July 24 would be announced after the completion of the other exams.
