AL leader, FF Mannan Mridha's 19th death anniv observed

The 19th death anniversary of Betagi Upazila Awami League former president and heroic freedom fighter M.A. Mannan Mridha was observed with placing wreaths to graveyard , offering 'Doa ' Quran recitation at Betagi in Barguna on Wednesday.
At 5 pm in the family graveyard of the deceased in the village of Dakshin Betagi, his eldest son Betagi Upazila Awami League President and Mayor of the municipality, ABM Golam Kabir arranged a memorial meeting where former member of Parliament Professor Humayun Kabir, President of Upazila Parishad Maksudur Rahman Forkan, Former General Secretary of Upazila Awami League Abdur Razzak Khan, heroic freedom fighter Abdul Motaleb Sikder, Vice President of Upazila Parishad Amirul Islam Pintu, UP President Khalilur Rahman and freedom fighter Abdul Motaleb Sikder and others spoke and recalled the the contributions of former Awami Leage leader Abdul Mannan Mridha.
Various social and cultural organizations including Upazila and Municipal Awami League, Mahila League, Sramik League, Jubo League, Swechhasebek League, Chhatra League and Muktijoddha Sangsad participated in it.
