8 quality teams awarded

Those eight teams or circles have presented their case studies carried out and implemented at their own workplaces during 2023. These case studies were focused at Improvement of Quality, Productivity, Environmental Management, Wastage Reduction, Cost Reduction and maintenance at work.
Due to implementation of these improvement activities these organization has been able to improve their profitability significantly. The international evaluators categorized all eight projects as “Gold”. This is the top most category.
The International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC) was held in Colombo, Sri-Lanka from 11th to 14th November, 2024.
A total of 14 nations participated in this year’s convention. All case studies had been evaluated following stringent criteria set by the Coordination Committee.
Three teams namely “Electro Mechanical Visioner”, “Prochestha”, “Kernel” from Health Care Pharmaceuticals Limited, three teams namely “Protagonist”, “Bangladesh-Synergy” and “Inula” from Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited, one “Determination” from Nuvista Pharma limited, one “The Gurdians” from Synova Pharma PLC participated and presented the case study which they have implemented at their workplace. The teams applying their teamwork and harnessing their problem-solving skill has significantly contributed in their company’s profitability and growth.
They have positioned their company’s image globally at a very high level through their demonstration of commitment, creativity and skill.
A total of 32 delegates from Bangladesh participated in the convention headed by A.M.M.Khairul Bashar, an international expert on Total Quality Management (TQM) who is currently the Adviser of The Bangladesh Society for Total Quality Management (BSTQM). BSTQM represents Bangladesh in this 14-member organization and is a member of the Coordination Committee.
Kazi Ehsanul Haque, a Senior Member of BSTQM was the Deputy Head of the Delegation.
