4 arrested in Rangamati violence case

Police have arrested four accused in the case of violence in Rangamati. They were arrested from different areas of the district on Friday.
The four arrested are-Accused in the case of murder. Rubel (23), Arber (17), accused in the case of arson and vandalism Rakib (27) and Ariful (17). The arrested accused have been sent to jail through the court.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Kotwali Police Station Saheed Uddin said, the accused in the murder case of Anik Kumar Chakma was arrested from Manikchari upazila of Khagrachari at around 4 am on Friday through information technology. Rubel was arrested. In the afternoon of this day, another accused, Arbar, was arrested from Reserve Bazar area of Rangamati city.Also, in the case of arson and vandalism that afternoon, Rakib was arrested from Doel Chatwar area of the city's old bus stand.Police arrested Ariful from Reserve Bazar area.
The OC also said that in the evening they were sent to jail through the court. Arbar and Ariful have been kept in safe custody of the police as they are minors.
