35 illegal structures evicted by Gopalgonj District Administration
In a move to reclaim public land, the Gopalganj district administration demolished around 35 illegal structures erected along both sides of the road in Pachuria area of Gopalganj town. on Thursday morning led by Executive Magistrate Prabir Biswas, with the assistance of the Roads and Highways Department and the Water Development Board.
Using bulldozers, the authorities demolished shops and other establishments that had been occupying the roadside unlawfully.
According to officials, the encroachments had long hindered progress on the road expansion project. With the successful completion of the operation, the project is expected to gain momentum, and public inconvenience will be significantly reduced.
The district administration has also announced that similar drives will continue in the future to ensure public infrastructure remains unimpeded.
