12-kg LPG cylinder price falls by Tk28

The government has cut the price of a 12-kilogram LPG cylinder from Tk28 to Tk1,450 this month to align with Saudi Arabian rates.
The price was Tk1,478 in February.
The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced the price rates during a press conference on Monday, saying the new rates will be effective from Monday evening.
The price of autogas has also been reduced by Tk1.31 to Tk66.43 per litre.
Besides, the price of a 12kg LPG cylinder supplied by the government company remains unchanged at Tk 690 while the 12 kg cylinder used for vehicles has been fixed at Tk 66.43 per litre against the previous price of Tk 67.74.
