
Tanzimul Ummah Madrasa's annual award- giving ceremony held in Rangpur

The two-day annual award giving ceremony of Tanzimul Ummah Hifz Madrasa, Rangpur was completed on Monday at the Rangpur Zilla Shalpikala with a festive atmosphere.
The first session of the first day organized by the Rangpur branch on Monday was welcomed by Tanzimul Ummah Hifz Madrasa, Rangpur Zone Principal Mohammad Mohiuddan. Prominent politician and social worker of Rangpur Vice-Principal Maulana ATM Azam Khan delivered his valuable speech as chief guest. Abul Kalam Azad, Associate Professor of Carmichael College and Acting Principal of Bogura Branch Tanzimul Ummah Madrasa Branch Maulana Shah Alam also spoke on the occasion.
Mohammad Ruhul Amin, Associate Professor of Economics of Rangpur Government College delivered his valuable speech as chief guest in the second session of the day. The guest speaker was Maulana Abdul Ahad, Mufassir of Dhap Satgara Model Kamli Madrasa,Rangpur. In addition, the other guest speakers at the event were Maulana Al Amani Majeba, Principal of Makura Fazil Madrasa, Nurul Abshad Bhuiyan, Director of the Foundation, Advocate Kawsar Ali, Religious Secretary of the Rangpur Lawyers Association, Advocate Tarquezzaman and others.
Earlier, on Sunday (August 24), the annual award ceremony of the Hajipara branch and the Rangpur branch of the Girls’ Hifz Madrasa was held at the same venue.
Prominent politician and Social worker Professor Golam Rabbani of Mathiapukur was present as chief guest of the first session and the chief guest of the second session was Mustafa Mansur Alam Khan, Director of the Rangpur Division of the Islamic Foundation.
Maulana Muhammad Mumtaz Uddin, distinguished scholar of Rangpur, glorified the function, attending as chief guest in the second session. The guest speakers of the second session were distinguished social activist and prominent politician of Rangpur Professor Mahbubur Rahman Belal and Professor Raihan Saraji among others.
The two-day event was presided over by Tanzimul Ummah Foundation, Bangladesh Chairman Habibullah Muhammad Iqbal.
The two-day event featured Quran recitation, Hamd-naat, Islamic music, inspirational songs, drama, Tanzimul Ummah Music, presentations, multilingual speeches by the scholars, and the award giving ceremony. More than one thousand students were awarded in various events including music, sports and cultural competition etc. at the event.
