Fisheries Week inaugurated in Ishwardi

The National Fisheries Week was inaugurated in Ishwardi recently.
Ishwardi UNO Subir Kumar Das inaugurated thr Week as the chief guest by blowing up balloons and releasing fish fry in the pond.
At this time, Upazila Fisheries Officer Abdur Rahman, PIO Shihab Uddin, Animal Resources Officer Aklima Khatun, fish farmer Nur Islam, Rezaul Karim and all the members of the Fisheries Association were present. Earlier, a discussion meeting and a crest distribution ceremony were organized in the hall room after the rally was held.
Ishwardi UNO Subir Kumar Das spoke as the chief guest at the discussion meeting presided over by Fisheries Officer Abdur Rahman. Five people including fish farmer Nurul Islam and Rezaul were given crests at the ceremony. Fish farmers say that organizing such events increases enthusiasm among fish farmers
