Ansar-VDP Advanced Training ends in Rangpur

The 28-day advanced training of Ansar and Village Defense Force in Rangpur was concluded on Tuesday at the Mahiganj Ansar-VDP Training Center in the city.
In the first phase, 100 VDP members participated. Rangpur Range Director Mohammad Abdus Samad was the chief guest at the event.
Ansar-VDP Rangpur District Commandant and Training Course Captain Rashedul Islam presided over the event, with Training Course Adjutant Saidul Islam present among others.
100 young, educated members selected from 8 upazilas of Rangpur district participated in the training. The trainees were provided with various developmental training and shooting practice including PT, parade, drill, weapon handling, anti-militancy, counter-terrorism, drug prevention, education, health, cattle, poultry farming, fish farming, introduction to Ansar-VDP organization, Ansar VDP Unnayan Bank, sanitation. At the end of the training, the 3 best trainees were given certificates along with a crest of honor, and all the trainees were given certificates and Ansar-VDP Unnayan Bank share certificates.
